Verify your download

Confirm the file is intact

After downloading, confirm the file matches its published checksum. In Terminal, run shasum on the downloaded .zip and compare the result to the SHA-256 above.

The 64-character value printed must match the published checksum for that file. Hexadecimal is case-insensitive — shasum prints lowercase, while the values above are shown in uppercase; they are equivalent. If a checksum does not match, do not run the file — re-download it and check again.

First launch. Both apps are signed with a Developer ID and notarized by Apple. If macOS Gatekeeper still prompts on the very first launch, right-click (or Control-click) the app and choose Open, then confirm.
